The percentage of visitors or leads who complete a desired action, such as making a purchase or signing up.
Why it matters
Conversion rate is the leverage point of your entire funnel. Doubling your conversion rate has the same impact as doubling your traffic — but it's usually cheaper and faster to achieve.
Formula
Divide the number of people who completed the desired action by the total number of visitors or leads, then multiply by 100.
